I work with adults experiencing a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, recent and childhood trauma, and adjustment to change
I provide a space for people to pause and reflect on their experiences. I support people to notice their own experiences, be curious, make meaning of current and past experiences and view their difficulties with greater self-compassion and understanding.
My approach is strongly influenced by attachment and trauma theories, and therefore relationship is seen as key in the therapeutic process.
Taking a client centred approach, I draw on training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-based therapies, Narrative Therapy, Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am currently completing training in art therapy, and am interested in the role of art and nature in recovery.
I provide a non-judgmental environment, where people's stories are treated with care and respect.
