A new chapter gestating…
In recent years I have moved to the Nillumbik Shire, and am slowly developing a sense of place here. I would like to make a contribution to this region and feel called to celebrate the natural beauty.
In October 2025 I will begin working in Eltham, and surrounding suburbs, on Tuesdays.
I am still imagining-into the exact format of this day. Likely it will involve:
Nature-based arts workshops
Poetry
Movement
River walks and bird sits
Collaborations with local artists and wildlife-loving folk
I’m curious how therapy might include reciprocity with our natural environment
Longer-format eco-therapy sessions (for individuals, friendship groups, couples)
Individual counselling sessions (I’ll likely lean more towards Hakomi as it’s tricky to maintain two full art therapy rooms)
I will not be offering Medicare rebates at this new location, as this frees-up our work to move beyond some of the constraints of this system.
My therapy space in Northcote will remain in-place, with sessions on Thursdays, Fridays and every second Saturday. Wednesday will remain a telehealth day. Medicare rebates will remain available in Northcote and telehealth.
Offerings will be open to both existing and new clients. Workshops may run in locations including St Andrews, Warrandyte, Eltham and Hurstbridge. I’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in any of the above. I will soon develop a newsletter to keep people abreast of ideas as they form.

I have had a love of rivers since childhood; living and holidaying beside many of Australia’s great rivers. Through my journey as a therapist, the Birrarung (Yarra River) particularly has acted as teacher, muse and a place of release. It feels fitting that the expansion of my practice would occur just further along this river from the Inside This River clinic location in Northcote.
